Ultrasonic Silver Tarnish Removal by Blitz

Below is a video on how to clean using Blitz' easy to use kit Item # 20762.  It is one of the hottest selling items on the internet right now, and with a few easy steps it cleans quickly.

A few things to remember:

  • If you have rhodium plated silver it should not tarnish.  If it did tarnish, you need to see your trusted local jeweler right away.
  • If your silver has pearls or soft stones, DON'T use the ultrasonic.  Soft stones can lose their luster, or even fracture.
  • If your silver was exposed to chlorine fumes (bleach, swimming pool, or other chlorine fumes), this is not really sulfur tarnish, but a much more complex reaction.  You may need to show your jeweler so it can be specially cleaned
If you do not have an ultrasonic, we recommend starting with a relatively inexpensive, and easy to use model - the CD-2800.  Blitz also sells this item.

Order item # CD-2800 or order item # KSLR1780

You will need item # 20762 which contains a plate and packets of solution.  When the plate becomes overly gray with tarnsih, it can be sanded down and reused.  Blitz recommends dedicating one single ultrasonic cleaner for your silver cleaning, and not adding gold or other metals to it.  Cross contamination can cause reactions or problems that only a jeweler may be able to remedy.

Order item # 20762.  Plate may change

Refills on the liquid are item # J681PPFWEB.
