Statement Jewelry

Whether you want to impress a prospective client, wow your date, or just act like an Egyptian today's fashion summons statement jewelry. In ancient times, Egyptian queens wore large necklaces, and Roman women wore elaborate rings.   In the 1920's, Coco Channel created a fashion buzz by creating large pieces for Hollywood stars.  From Theda Bara to Ginger Rogers to the incomparable Audrey Hepburn, statement jewelry defined glamorous moments of the 20-th century.

This type of jewelry cam be very difficult to clean if makeup or other material gets on it.  It may be made of a variety of materials:  A mixture of precious and base metals, pearls, gems, beads, wood, mother-of-pearl, or ivory.

Blitz offers several choices to assist.

For metals, we suggest starting with a clean cloth and fashion Foamz™ item # 663.  It is not recommended for un-coated wood, paper, papier-mache, or items that if wet will swell, dissolve, or erode.  Otherwise, foam on, and wipe off.  The foam gets in the smallest crevices, but will not affect plated metals.

Blitz also has a full line of ready-to-use treated cloths made of suede-soft microfiber.
