This is the classic cloth for true brass instruments. The polish is in the cloth, and our tarnish eater ingredients are water-based. There are no harmful agents. Whether you have cymbals or unlacquered brass instruments, this cloth is ready to use out of the pouch. Always make sure that Blitz Cymbal Care is moist. If it dries out, you can add a little water to dampen it, but never wash it because you'll remove the special ingredients.

 

To clean: After checking to make sure the surface is free of grit or particles, rub briskly in the direction of the metal grooves or grain of metal. Some darkening of the cloth will occur which means tarnish is being removed. Allow to stand at least a minute, and then wash the cymbal or brass thoroughly with clear water. Dry and then buff wioth a clean dry cloth. If water or other liquid has sat on the metal for a long time, then the pores of the metal may be darkened deeply. This may need many uses of the Blitz Cymbal Care cloth, or special treatment by an expert.
